Second Of Three Races Of The Main Circuit Of Mountain Bike Of Latin America Will Be Held Between The Days 15 And 17 Of May
Registration is open for the second leg of the Levorin International Mountain Bike Cup. In São João del-Rei (MG) athletes will participate in the CIMTB Levorin, in the format Sprint Eliminator (XCE) and Cross Country Olympic (XCO), as well as the LM Cup of Amadores, in addition to the CIMTB Night Run mountain race. Event will be held between May 15 and 17 at Campus Tancredo Neves of UFSJ, with registrations opened this Friday (20), at the site www.cimtb.com.br. 1,300 athletes are expected, among cyclists and runners, on the trails of the Federal University of São João del-Rei.
The registration period runs until May 10, the Sunday before the event. In the Levorin International Cup of MTB, the value for participation is R $ 116.00 for the Olympic Cross Country (PNE and Over 60 cost R $ 58,00) and R $ 40,00 for the Sprint Eliminator. In the Amadores LM Bike Cup the price is R $ 70.00, except for the Mirim category, R $ 20.00.The CIMTB Night Run, which takes advantage of the structure and track of the bike races, has registrations at R $ 60.00.
The main MTB circuit in Latin America, CIMTB Levorin began in March in the municipality of Araxá, where more than 1,500 athletes ventured on the trails of the Tauá Grande Hotel. With the achievement of the unprecedented SHC (Hors Class for Internships), the competition beat a record of foreign cyclists, with 13 countries represented in the most diverse categories. After the intermediate stage in São João, the event will close in Congonhas, the city of the Prophets, with the traditional Marathon (XCM) in November, from the 6th to the 8th.
